Benefits

The investment has resulted in the improvement of the safety and reliability of natural gas transmission in the Opole and Silesia regions, and – on a national scale – increased transmission capacity and the degree of diversification of natural gas sources. In addition, the Tworóg – Kędzierzyn gas pipeline makes part of the North-South Gas Corridor.

Local communities have gained an important benefit of the revenue from the property tax to be paid annually by GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. at the rate of 2% of the value of the pipeline section located in the territory of each municipality.
