The EU support helped in the completion of numerous investment projects that will contribute to the improvement of energy security for Poland and the entire region of Central and Eastern Europe.

In June 2025, GAZ-SYSTEM signed a loan agreement with Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego for the construction of the onshore section of the FSRU Programme, namely the Gdańsk–Gustorzyn gas pipeline. The loan is financed under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan. The aim of the support is to expand transmission infrastructure, enhance the country’s energy security, improve the quality of life for the public and increase the resilience of the economy following the crisis caused by the pandemic. The loan amount is PLN 2.2 billion.
