GAZ-SYSTEM is a strategic company for the Polish economy. It is responsible for the transmission of natural gas, managing Poland's most important gas pipelines and the Baltic Pipe undersea gas pipeline. It owns and operates the LNG Terminal in Swinoujscie, and also owns Gas Storage Poland, a company that acts as an operator of natural gas storage facilities.

GAZ-SYSTEM is currently constructing a floating gas terminal FSRU in the Gulf of Gdansk, which aims to ensure diversification, stability and security of gas supply. The company also wants to play an active role in the process of transformation and decarbonization of the Polish economy, leading projects on biomethane and hydrogen transportation options.
