An environmental management system (hereinafter: “EMS”) is a set of interrelated or interacting elements of the Company's management of environmental aspects, compliance obligations, and risks and opportunities to establish environmental protection policies and environmental management objectives and processes to achieve these objectives.

Aiming to achieve optimal and effective solutions, ensuring respect for environmental resources and showing concern for the state of the environment, the totality of the Company's intentions for the implementation of the above-mentioned adopted goals is presented in the Environmental Policy.
Organizationally, the scope of the EMS includes:
- Maritime Operations Division - in terms of processes related to managing the operation of the LNG Terminal;
- Other organizational units - in terms of processes supporting the process of managing the operation of the LNG Terminal.
The environmental goals of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. are:
- reduction of greenhouse gas emissions,
- improvement of energy efficiency,
- reduction of air pollution,
- protection of biodiversity,
- striving for a circular economy model,
- building environment caring image of the Company,
- developing and improving the environmental management system.
Aiming to achieve optimal and effective solutions, ensuring respect for environmental resources and showing concern for the state of the environment, the totality of the Company's intentions for the implementation of the above-mentioned adopted goals is presented in the Environmental Policy.
