Energinet, the Danish transmission system operator, was the entity responsible for the implementation of the project.

The investment has been completed.

Project route and location:

The pipeline was connected to the existing transmission infrastructure - the Europipe II pipeline - in the North Sea, thus providing access to gas from Norwegian fields. 

The pipeline's landfall is on the west coast of Denmark, near Blåbjerg.
