Transmission infrastructure
The Transmission Network Code (TNC) is a set of regulations established in accordance with Article 9g of the Energy Law, specifying in particular:
  • rights and obligations of GAZ-SYSTEM and the System User,
  • the conditions for offering the available transmission system capacity,
  • the conditions for the provision of gaseous fuel transmission services,
  • the processes necessary for the safe and efficient performance of gaseous fuel transmission services,
  • the scope of cooperation of GAZ-SYSTEM with ISO (Interoperating System Operator), OPR (Billing Point Operator) and Customers.

On 15 July 2024, by decision No. DRR.WRG.4322.1.2024.IWa, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office approved the Transmission Network Code concerning the Polish transmission system owned by Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and set its effective date for 1 August 2024 at 6.00 a.m

On 5 January 2021, by decision No. DRR.WRG.4322.4.2020.IWa, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office approved the Transmission Network Code concerning the Polish transmission system owned by Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. and set its effective date for 1 February 2021 at 6.00 a.m.
 
 

On 15 December 2022, the President of ERO issued a Decision amending the Transmission Network Code (TNC). The amendment includes additional rules governing the provision of a gaseous fuel pressure reduction service and is effective from 1 January 2023, 06:00 a.m.
 

On 13 April 2023, the President of ERO issued a Decision amending the Transmission Network Code (TNC). The amendment includes additional rules governing the provision of a gaseous fuel compression service and is effective from 1 Mai 2023, 06:00 a.m.
 

On 29th  November 2023, the President of the Energy Regulatory Office issued a decision to amend the Transmission Network Code (TNC).

The amendment consists in approving the essential provisions of the contract for the provision of gaseous fuel transmission services, constituting Appendix no. 1 to the TNC.

The effective date of Appendix no. 1 to TNC is 1st April 2024 from 06:00 a.m.

Appendix no. 1 to the TNC – The essential provisions of the contract for the provision of gaseous fuel transmission services – does not impose any new obligations on the system users. It contains only a set of the essential provisions resulting from the TNC, the transmission contract, the General Terms and Conditions or the Tariff.
