Application for connection

To complete the application online you have to log in to the Information Exchange System (IES).

If you have an IES account, log in using your login and password.

If you do not have an account in the system yet, register using this link.

In addition to the electronic version, you can complete the application form and attachments on paper. You will find the relevant documents at the bottom of the page.

The type of application for the definition of connection conditions that you should submit depends on the group you belong to. You can check this under Connection to the NTS.

Information and procedures related to connections can be found in:

• do not know whether you can apply for a connection to the network
• you do not have a legal title to the facility where the connected equipment, installations or networks to be connected will be used

submit an Application for the indication of the options for connection to the transmission network of Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. (“TSO”).

1. If the application conforms to formal requirements, the Operator conducts a technical and economic analysis to assess whether connection to the transmission network is technically feasible and any economically justified.
2. In case when the application does not meet formal requirements, within 7 days from the date of its receipt you will be asked by GAZ-SYSTEM to complete or correct the application by an indicated date. However, this date must not be sooner than 21 days counted from the date of receipt of the request to complete or correct the application. Please note that if you do not deliver a revised application by the indicated date, it will not be processed.
3. Information on the definition of the connection conditions or the impossibility of the connection to the network will be provided by GAZ-SYSTEM within:
   • 60 days from submitting the correct version of the application if you belong to Group A Entities (consumers of gaseous fuel)
   • 90 days from submitting a complete application, if you belong to Group C (you are engaged in transmission, distribution, production, processing, extraction or storage of gaseous fuel, or liquefaction or re-gasification of liquefied natural gas)

If technically and economically feasible, you will receive conditions for connection of your installation to the transmission network.

The agreement on connection to the transmission network is executed only upon the application of an entity that holds valid conditions of connection to the transmission network.

In the connection conditions, GAZ-SYSTEM will define, i.a., the following:

• point of connection of plant, installations or networks and their technical parameters,
• extent of necessary adaptations in the network related to the connection to a gas network,
• technical parameters of the connection line to the gas network,
• the minimum and maximum pressures for the supply and off-take of gas at the connection point,
• requirements applicable to the measurement system and the location where it is to be installed,
• connection capacity,
• delivery and off-take profile, including the minimum and maximum hourly quantities and volumes of gaseous fuel as well as the yearly quantities of gas fuel,
• place for the delivery and off-take of gaseous fuel,
• point delimiting the ownership of the TSO’s transmission system and the facilities, installations or networks owned by the entity to be connected,
• requirements related to the equipment of a gas station or a metering system, type of metering system, as well as telemetry and cathodic protection systems,
• expected starting date for off-take of gaseous fuel,
• estimated expenditures on the construction of the connection.
