The calculator of charges for gas transmission services provided based on short-term firm capacity products serves for indicative estimation of costs of gas transmission service under short-term contracts for a typical customer of the National Transmission System.
The charges are calculated on the basis of Tariff No. 17 for gaseous fuels transmission. Due to the specific situation of each customer, the actual costs payable under a short-term transmission contract may differ from those estimated using the calculator.
For short-term interruptible capacity products, the ex-ante discount referred to in section 10.4.2 of Tariff No. 17 applies. When technical and economic conditions exist for providing transmission services under short-term contracts, the TSO may execute a short-term contract with the Shipper on the conditions for any of the terms set out in the Tariff.
