Supplier switching
Each final customer in the transmission system has the right to change the gaseous fuel supplier [1].
A change of a supplier in the transmission system is made when capacity is allocated either to a new supplier (option 1) or to a final customer (FC) purchasing gas for own use (option 2). The new supplier or FC shall be a party to the transmission contract. The transmission contract should be concluded no later than on the date when either the FC or the new supplier commences the supplier switching procedure.

The transmission contract should be concluded no later than on the date when either the FC or the new supplier commences the supplier switching procedure.
- The FC concludes a sale agreement or a comprehensive agreement with a new supplier.
- The FC or the new supplier, acting on behalf of the FC, terminates the sale agreement with the existing supplier in respect of a part or all of the ordered capacity (contractual capacity) at the physical exit point (FPWYOK).
- The new supplier, who must hold a valid transmission contract with us, submits an application for supplier switching at the physical exit point (FPWYOK) in the Information Exchange System (IES) at least 21 days prior to the date of switching.
- The application for capacity allocation shall be accompanied by a declaration from the FC, which shall include:
- effective termination of the sale agreement with the existing supplier or an amendment to the sale agreement,
- information on the quantity of capacity and the duration of withdrawing the capacity from the existing supplier and the quantity of capacity and the duration of assigning the capacity to the new supplier.
- The FC must hold a transmission contract concluded with us.
- The FC is permitted to purchase gas for its own use.
- The FC terminates the sale agreement with the existing supplier in respect of a part or all of the ordered capacity (contractual capacity) at the physical exit point (FPWYOK).
- The FC submits an application for switching supplier at the physical exit point (FPWYOK) in the Information Exchange System (IES) at least 21 days prior to the date of its commencement of gas supply.
- The application for capacity allocation should be accompanied by the Final Customer's declaration that the sale agreement with the existing supplier has been effectively terminated or that the sale agreement has been amended and the statement on the quantity of capacity and the duration of withdrawing the capacity from the existing supplier and the quantity of capacity and the duration of assigning the capacity to the FC.
