The decision of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivode to construct the Rembelszczyzna – Gustorzyn gas pipeline in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship

At present, tender proceedings are under way for the selection of a contractor to construct the gas pipeline as well as for investor supervision.
The Rembelszczyzna – Gustorzyn gas pipeline approx. 176 km in length will traverse the Kuyavian-Pomeranian and Mazovian Voivodships. The Kuyavian-Pomeranian section, approx. 41 km in length, is located in the Włocławek and Lipno Poviat (Communes of: Brześć Kujawski, Lubanie, Fabianki, Dobrzyń nad Wisłą, Bobrowniki, as well as the City of Włocławek). This investment is expected to be completed in 2014.
The estimated net value of the entire investment amounts to over 628.8 mln PLN. Over 121.5 mln PLN comes from the European Regional Development Fund within the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013. The Rembelszczyzna – Gustorzyn gas pipeline is being constructed as an investment accompanying the liquefied natural gas terminal (LNG) in Świnoujście, which will enable the off-take of 5 bn m3 of natural gas annually, with the possibility of further developing it to off-take 7.5 bn m3.
