The decision of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivode for the construction of the Gustorzyn-Odolanów gas pipeline in the territory of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship, approx. 35.5 km in length
On 20 September 2011, the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivode, Ewa Mes, issued the building permit decision for the transmission gas pipeline on the Gustorzyn-Odolanów route, Stage 1 Gustorzyn-Turek, in the territory of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship, which is approx. 35.5 km in length; the section from the Gustorzyn Gas Transmission Hub to the border of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship with the Greater Poland Voivodship; the area of the Włocławek Poviat – the Brześć Kujawski Commune, the City of Brześć Kujawski, the Lubraniec Commune, the City of Lubraniec, the Izbica Kujawska Commune, the City of Izbica Kujawska.
The tender proceedings for the selection of the building contractor for this gas pipeline are currently in progress.
The Gustorzyn–Odolanów gas pipeline is located in the territory of the Greater Poland and Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodships. It will be 168 km long in total with a diameter of 700 mm and will contribute to increasing the gas transmission security in Central Poland. The route will traverse the Koło Poviat in the Greater Poland Voivodship, (including the following Communes: Babiak, Koło Commune, City of Koło, Osiek Mały and Kościelec), Turek (including through the following Communes: Brudzew, Turek Commune, City of Turek, Przykona and Malanów), Kalisz (including through the following Communes: Mycielin, Ceków-Kolonia, Żelazków, Blizanów and the City of Kalisz) as well as Ostrów (including through the Communes: Commune and City of Nowe Skalmierzyce, Ostrów Wielkopolski Commune, City of Ostrów Wielkopolski, Przygodzice, Odolanów Commune, City of Odolanów). The remaining part of the gas pipeline in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodship will traverse three Communes of the Włocławek Poviat (Brześć Kujawski Commune, City of Brześć Kujawski, Lubraniec Commune, City of Lubraniec, Izbica Kujawska Commune, and City of Izbica Kujawska).
The performance of the Gustorzyn-Odolanów section of the GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. investment project will be co-financed in the amount of 175.45 mln PLN from the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2007-2013 (OPI&E). The following gas pipelines have also received co-financing from this Programme: Włocławek-Gdynia (31.96 mln PLN), Jeleniów-Dziwiszów (65.1 mln PLN), Szczecin-Gdańsk (226.88 mln PLN), Polkowice-Żary (25.59 mln PLN) and Rembelszczyzna-Gustorzyn (121.55 mln PLN).
