September commercial summary: Enesta Sp. z o.o. starts to work with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.
The group of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.'s transmission customers expanded by two more companies, including Enesta Sp. z o.o. in the last gas month of 2013/2014.Enesta Sp. z o.o. specializes in the distribution and sales of electricity, natural gas, as well as heat. It offers its services mainly to large business customers located in the industrial region of Huta Stalowa Wola S.A. and the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Zone in Stalowa Wola. The signature of the transmission contract with GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. will give the ability to work flexibly with other entities selling natural gas, while assuring ourselves an allocation and its appropriate capacity at virtual points purchased for industrial customers. Such a new model of operation of Ernesta is a result of the activities of the market and assures the company of the ability to flexibly respond and give greater price competitiveness, while maintaining and expanding the portfolio of gas customers, as well as giving industrial gas customers a favourable level of prices - notes Tomasz Strusiński, President of the Management Board of Enesta Sp. z o.o. In September, 5.13 TWh of fuel was transmitted as a result of transactions on the gas exchange operated by TGE S.A and 15.2 TWh from transactions on the OTC market. Within the framework of the model contract proposed in the Transmission Network Code, GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is signing transmission contracts with customers, which are supplemented by the allocation of specific transmission capacity. This model helps respond flexibly to the transmission needs of GAZ-SYSTEM S.A.’s customers and satisfy them on the basis of the entry-exit tariff.
