Implementation of Edig@s v.5.1
Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. plans implementation of edig@s 5.1 in the nomination and matching process in November 2015.
Edig@s v.5.1 also contains functionalities that enable the fulfillment of new obligations set out in the network codes (BAL NC, CAM NC).
Major changes in version 5.1 Edig@s:
- harmonized identification and versioning of the message – edig@s message is determined uniquely by the attributes Identification and Version;
- every change of nomination (renomination) should have the same Identification and incremented Version number (operator shall only accept a document with a version number which is greater than the previous version number of the same document),
- NOMRES and DELRES contains the Identification of NOMINT and DELORD,
Clearly specified identification of the origin of the information in the time series (INFORMATION ORIGIN TIMESERIES),
- Nomination Type (single sided or double sided) added in NOMINT and NOMRES: A01 = Single sided, A02 = Double sided.
Edig@s Message Implementation Guidelines (including XSD schemas) are published on www.edigas.org.
Please note that in order to meet the expectations of market participants, we accept the rule (when using Edig@as v. 5.1) that the nomination for each entry or exit point shall be in a separate NOMINT message (currently in version 4 of Edig@s we require all points in one edig@s message). This approach will facilitate the exchange of information in the renomination procedure (the Network User will be able to renominate only selected points, there will be no need to put all points in each NOMINT message in the renomination procedure).
Please pay attention, EIC codes will be used to identify the issuer and receiver of edig@s message and to identify the connection point (these changes are caused by the need to fulfill obligations under REMIT).
GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. is the EIC Local Issuing Office. Gas market participants who do not have EIC code, may request for the code allocation. EIC codes for entry and exit points in the Polish gas transmission system will soon be allocated and published on GAZ-SYSTEM website under the section on the EIC Local Issuing Office.
