Photo of the article - World Maritime Days have been an opportunity to unveil our plans on extension of the transmission infrastructure, including, most of all, those related to the LNG Terminal. An international character of the meeting, panel discussions strengthened our belief that all the efforts we have made are a response to the expectations of the market – said Artur Zawartko, Vice-President of the Management Board, GAZ-SYSTEM, during World Maritime Days 2018, organized by the Ministry of Marine Economy and Inland Navigation in cooperation with International Maritime Organization, IMO.
The event was held in Szczecin, on June 13-15, 2018.

According to Mr. Zawartko, the Northern Gate concept, comprising the project meant to extend LNG Terminal as well as the Baltic Pipe Project, constitutes components of a broad investment strategy to be implemented by GAZ-SYSTEM Capital Group. – We hope that the above-mentioned projects, along with interconnectors, development of the Polish transmission infrastructure, will allow for establishing the system that would integrate CEE countries, providing them with diversified sources for gas delivery – he emphasized.

Moreover, he highlighted that LNG is one of the promising fuels on the gas market, which is subject to dynamic fluctuations. – The Terminal’s extension turns GAZ-SYSTEM and Polskie LNG, a terminal operator, into active players on this particular market. Hence, we will gain extra opportunities in terms of reception and transmission of gas as well as increase its competiveness – he added.
