New transmission tariff by GAZ-SYSTEM

In 2023, the rates for the transmission of gaseous fuels will change. On 3 June,   the President of the Energy Regulatory Office has approved a new transmission tariff for GAZ-SYSTEM.

Pustuant to Article 32 of the Network Code TAR - (EU) 2017/460 of 16 March 2017, the Gas Transmission Operator GAZ-SYSTEM S.A. on www.gaz-system.pl has published the tariff rates (base prices) to come into force as at 1 January 2023 6:00 a.m. and remain in force until 1 January 2024 6:00 a.m.

Under the approved 'Tariff for the Transmission of Gaseous Fuels No. 16', the entry point rates for high-methane gas (group E) and for nitrided natural gas (subgroup L) will change compared to the rates in force in 2022. The rates at exit points for E gas and for L gas will also change against the current tariff rates.

SGT tariff [Transit Gas Pipeline System]

As of the date of publication of the information referred to in Article 29 of the Network Code TAR for the gas year 2022/2023, the SGT tariff for 2023 has not been approved. According to the Energy Law, in the absence of a new tariff approved (for 2023), the existing tariff (for 2022) shall apply. In consideration of the foregoing, the prices of base products under the 2022 SGT tariff have been published on www.gaz-system.pl.

SGT tariff for 2022 shall remain in full force until the official approval of SGT tariff for 2023, which will take place upon establishing the final content of the contract entrusting SGT by the President of the ERO. As a result of the approval of  2023 SGT tariff, there will be a change in base product prices for the gas year 2022/2023.
