Consultation on the 2027–2036 development plan for transit gas pipeline system in Poland

GAZ-SYSTEM has launched consultation on the draft National Ten-Year Development Plan for Transmission System in 2027–2036 regarding the Polish section of the Yamal–Europe gas infrastructure. The plan is intended to ensure security and provide necessary adjustments to the system to meet the growing demand for gaseous fuels.

Additional support from EU funds for GAZ-SYSTEM’s investment project

The company has been granted over PLN 86 million from the FEnIKS fund for the construction of the Nowe Tłoki–Sulechów gas pipeline. The agreement was signed with the Oil and Gas Institute – National Research Institute. The project spans the Wielkopolskie and Lubuskie provinces.

In a dialogue with stakeholders, GAZ-SYSTEM, as the hydrogen transmission network operator in Poland, intends to design hydrogen network accessible to all market participants concerned. The document aims to define the main directions for the development of the hydrogen transmission network in Poland and to outline connections with the emerging hydrogen infrastructure in Europe.

A complete set of location decisions issued for an important gas pipeline in Central and Eastern Europe

GAZ-SYSTEM revealed the route of the largest investment project under construction in southern Poland. Two gas pipelines measuring over 280 kilometres will support the integration of the national transmission system with three system interconnections at the border with Lithuania, Slovakia, and Ukraine. They will also enable transport of gaseous fuel imported via the FSRU terminal being constructed in the Gulf of Gdańsk towards the south regions of Poland.

A new Gas Compressor Station to be built in Greater Poland

GAZ-SYSTEM has signed a contract for the construction of a new Gas Compressor Station in Lwówek and related transmission infrastructure. Construction work is scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2026 and is expected to be completed at the turn of 2027/2028. The contract was awarded to Budimex.
